About the Author
Nigel Wheeler’s resume reads like a Hemingway novel. He has been all over the place, from the hallowed halls of U.C. Berkeley where he graduated with a degree in communications, to the chill winds off the Eastern shore working as a cub reporter, to covering breaking news in West Palm Beach, Florida, to the crime and punishment beat of major network television in Dallas, Texas, before dropping out to perform as the lead singer of a rock band.
Author Nigel Wheeler has done it all. Then he did what he said he would never do: attend law school. Somewhere between the disparate gigs, author Nigel Wheeler found time to pen a children’s book, The Misadventures of Billy Brown. The manuscript was buried in Nigel’s desk drawer for ten years. Marriage and the birth of three children provided inspiration and gave Nigel the impetus to present The Misadventures of Billy Brown to the world.
Nigel Wheeler currently serves as General Counsel for the hockey team, Carolina Hurricanes. In his spare time, Nigel continues to write the next book in the series based on Billy Brown’s misadventures.
